july jamboree

Yes I am still a little behind on the blog but I am getting there. This summer we had a booth at the July Jamboree. It was much more organized this year due to the fact that we didn't have any of the problems from last year. In 08', our stuff from Florida arrived 1 hour before we were supposed to set up and half of it was ruined, I had my sister's kids and we were setteling in a new house so I couldn't get everything ready was ahead of time. This year, Michelle and Melissa came over for awhile and Taylyn enjoyed the company!

Banana Flam Dam

Cody and Tony had Banana Flam Damn in Mexico one time and decided one night to give it a try. I stood back and hoped they didn't start a fire. The house survived and they weren't too bad!

Tickets to Nascar

Cody and I along with Shon and Regan went to the Las Vegas 350 at the Nascar Race track. It was so fun but it is definitely a different crowd than we were used too!

Backyard

My brother, his family and two of my sisters came over after we were a little more settled to enjoy a nice evening in the backyard. The kids had a blast and we decided we definitely love the backyard!!!

Cedar City Balloon Festival

In September sometime we had a Balloon Festival in Cedar. Tay was way excited and wanted to see Smokey the Bear. We didn't get up early enough so we just watched from the front yard while eating breakfast and then it rained so bad in the evening that none of the balloons were blown up to watch. We had fun at the Candy drop and the blow up play houses (as long as I went in with her).

What the Jax Man has been up to!

The biggest thing Jaxon has taught me is

BOYS ARE VERY DIFFERENT THAN GIRLS!!!!!

He is a busy and keeps me going strong!

He thinks he is so big in his seat!

He loves that thumb!

So Relaxed. He fights going to sleep, but once he's out he's OUT! It doesn't matter where the hands end up!He never really cared for his bouncer seat but loved his swing.

My Chubby Boy! He started out small and apparently grew really fast.

Jaxon got 2 rounds of RSV during his first couple of months. It was so sad to see him like that. He was less than amused with the breathing treatments every 4 hours. The second time was a lot harder; he cried pretty much the entire treatment. I felt so bad. This was his feet at about 1 1/2 months. He was just starting to grow into them. He has the longest fingers I have even seen on a baby.

They are so sweet when they are sleeping. I thought he was going to be a good sleeper like his sister because by 2 months he was sleeping through the night, then he got sick and that was the end of that. He is finally at 8 months sleeping through the night. It is not fair to mess with mom like that!! Just kicking back!

Cody bought that monkey jungle gym and boy did he love it. His favorite things to do with it was destroy it. Boys are so different than girls.

What do I do now?

Watching his big sister! Look at those thighs!!! He has quite the temper. Even the fingers didn't work that time.

What a Smile! He brightens my day. He has really been a great baby. He is very happy most of the time. My little guy is growing so fast.

His 4 month checkup he weighed 16.4 (86%), 26.5 inches tall (93%), and his head was 16.25 inches (25%). He is already trying to crawl and stand up. He is doing well and is definitely a momma's boy. If anyone tries to take him he cries. I will take him and less than the count of three he stops mid cry.

He finally decided he like the swing on his own terms.

Reaching for the insects but couldn't quite get them because they kept moving on him.
He wasn't so sure about the cereal the first couple of times, but once he decided it was good there was no stopping him. Cody was making it once and I had told him how much to make, his response was, "he eats that much, I couldn't even eat that much cereal."
