We went to dinner with friends and then Cody bought me a Ice Cream Cake from Dairy Queen that we came home to eat, as well as played the Wii. It was so fun! Taylyn was sharing my cake and decided that I was not feeding her fast enough!

Well not really but Roxie is getting better. She even lets Taylyn hold her and hug her (last picture was in the process of hugging). It makes Tay just laugh and giggle until Roxie escapes!

It makes me laugh. She spends half her day like this, saying "Daddy!" Notice I did let her get dirty, look at those hands! I am getting better!

We have a Fondue Pot and a Chocolate Fountain so we had a little Fondue Party last week. Everyone brought something and we ate until we were sick. It was totally worth it though!!!

Right after we got back from Christmas break we were infested with all kinds of sickness bugs! We are still recuperating. I got a really bad sinus infections and finally got over that in time for Taylyn to react from her 1 year shots, decided to start teething and get an ear infection. She ran a fever of 103.9 for 2 days and basically slept for two days straight. It was fun to have her snuggle me again but I felt so bad that she was so sick. She ended up getting a shot and a full dose of antibiotic. Cody also got a fever, achy joints and didn't get out of bed for two days as well. He even got it the same day as Taylyn. So I was busy taking care of my two babies!!! We are finally almost over everything; I hope!

Whenever Cody's family comes we always go to The Rustic Inn. It is such good seafood! Cody always gets the Hands On Platter (crab, shrimp, ribs) and I always get the Queen Crab! The best part however, is their Key Lime Pie! It is to die for!!!!!!

Taylyn was tired of sitting in the shopping cart, so she decided it was her turn to push the cart and do a little shopping!

Taylyn started to walk in the first part of December. She got braver and braver and then went for it. She is really good now, but thinks that she can run and that doesn't quite work for her. She has taken a few big falls because her body is moving faster than her legs. All she wants to do is walk everywhere and anywhere. Her favorite is to take Roxie outside and she just follows her around stomping on the grass. Things sure take a lot longer when your children learn to walk!!

While we were out west we went to visit Taylyn's Great Grandparents! It is always so nice to visit with them. I wish we could be closer and visit more often.

We left on December 3rd and came back January 1st. Cody took some time off of school in order to visit and work with his Uncle. It was nice to get such a big break. We went from Cedar to Overton to Vegas to go to the Nationals Final Rodeo, back to Cedar, up to Salt Lake, back to Cedar then to Overton and finally back to Ft. Lauderdale. It was very busy but we were able to see most of the family. Taylyn enjoyed her time with her Daddy too and got very spoiled with attention from everyone. I made some slide show to show a little of our vacation. Hope you enjoy seeing what we have been up to recently!

Taylyn and I went to Salt Lake for a weekend. My nieces had a lot of fun things going on so we decided to head up there to see everyone. On Friday night we went to see Cassandra and Danielle dance at a church activity. I tried to take pictures but they didn't turn out at all. They did a great job and are sure growing up fast. Then on Saturday Cassandra watched Taylyn so I could go to Brittney and Tiffney's dance contest. I am absolutely amazed at what they could do. It was so fun to be able to see the two of them dance together. The team was awesome and did really well. On Sunday Danielle sang in church and almost made me cry. I didn't know she could sing that well. It was a fast trip but I had so much fun and am so proud of the girls and all their accomplishments!

In Cedar City every year they have a Festival of Trees where people decorate Christmas trees and display them.Cody's mom and Aunt decorate the Santa area as well as creating the North Pole and about 20-30 trees. They put in a ton of work and it always looks amazing. Here are a few pictures we took when we went to see everything this year. Taylyn was so excited and was trying to run from one tree to the other. She loved it until we had her sit on Santa's lap. She was not happy about that, but loved seeing everything else!
